‘As You Wish’ – Six-Part Knit Along (starts 08.09.22)

£65.00

Fancy joining us for a fantasy inspired six part knit-along (KAL) led by Julie Cowan? … As You Wish.
STARTING THURSDAY 8th SEPTEMBER 2022 – 6:30pm – 9:00pm

The gorgeous As You Wish rectangular shawl pattern has been designed by Mary Annarella of Lyrical Knits in homage to William Goldman’s classic book (and 1987 movie) The Princess Bride.

If you are a knitter, this shawl is a joy to make, packed with unusual stitches and construction techniques – there’s something new every time you pick up your needles. Each section references different moments and characters from the story, from the Fire Swamp to the Cliffs of Insanity (Inconceivable!), Westley, and Buttercup, Fezzik and Inigo… and of course, True Love!

If you’re already a fan of the book or movie, there’s no question this KAL will make you smile. And if you’ve never heard of it – we’ll gladly lend you our copy of the DVD to enjoy!

Either way, by the end, you’ll have received expert guidance throughout, added new stitches and techniques to your repertoire, and have knitted the most beautiful shawl. (Wearing it whilst riding away from the final workshop on a white horse is completely optional).

This KAL is available to attend either in person or online via Zoom.
