This three-day, two-night retreat offers a wonderful opportunity to relax and enjoy your favourite yarn hobby with like-minded individuals in a peaceful and picturesque Cornish setting. Julie and Liz from Truro Wool will be your hosts, providing a warm welcome as you settle into a weekend of knitting, crochet, weaving, spinning, enjoyable conversation, and plenty of laughter.

Now in its sixth year, this much-loved retreat has become a cherished celebration of friendship, fibre, and guilt-free project indulgence. Whether you’re a returning guest or joining us for the first time, you’re in for a truly special experience. 

Each day unfolds in the hotel’s inviting lounge – think crackling fire, comfy sofas, and lots of cheerful chatter. For those eager to learn something new, a selection of optional workshops will run in a dedicated space nearby. In the evenings, unwind with fun, relaxed activities – or simply kick back and soak up the peaceful atmosphere.

As a guest, you’ll also have full access to the hotel’s fantastic leisure facilities, including the newly upgraded heated indoor pool, outdoor hot tub, and Aspen wood Finnish sauna – perfect for a little extra indulgence between projects.

WHAT’S INCLUDED:

• Two night’s accommodation in either Standard Room or Signature Room
  Standard Rooms are comfortable, spacious rooms with a more traditional feel, Signature Rooms are modern, contemporary rooms and most have views over the gardens and golf course – (sharing and additional night options available for both).
• All main meals including full English breakfast, a light lunch and a two-course evening meal served in the Restaurant
• Mid-morning and afternoon refreshments served in the Lounge
• A welcome goody bag on arrival
• Optional evening activities
• Exclusive offers in the Truro Wool Pop-Up Shop
• Complimentary use of the hotel facilities including the indoor pool, sauna, outdoor hot-tub, golf-course, tennis courts and beautiful gardens

• Refreshments outside of those stated above, including all alcoholic drinks (can be charged to your room)
• Spa treatments (can be booked)
• Travel to and from Budock Vean Hotel on arrival and departure

WEEKEND PACKAGE OPTIONS

• Standard Room Package Prices:
  • Sole Occupancy – £460.00
  • Shared (Twin) Occupancy – £690.00 (£345.00 per person)
• Signature Room Package Prices:
  • Sole Occupancy – £615.00
  • Shared (Twin) Occupancy – £870.00 (£435.00 per person)

A £150 non-refundable deposit per person is required at the time of booking. This is split between Truro Wool and the hotel. The remaining balance is payable directly to Budock Vean Hotel prior to departure.

If you are booking a Shared (Twin) Occupancy room, please use the ‘Customer Notes’ section on the checkout page to confirm the name(s) and contact details (email and mobile phone number) of all attendees – thank you.

ADDITIONAL NIGHTS

For those wanting to extend their stay a little longer, Budock Vean Hotel is offering special Bed and Breakfast and Dinner, Bed and Breakfast rates for additional nights. It’s the perfect way to ease in (or out) of your retreat experience with a little extra comfort and calm.

Additional nights can be booked as a separate item on our website and will appear separately in your basket at checkout. Where possible, please book these at the same time as your main retreat booking. Thank You.
