This project is perfect for first-time crochet garment makers, offering endless opportunities for customisation.

In this 3-hour workshop, Truro Wool’s Julie Cowan will guide you through the essential steps and techniques needed, giving you the confidence to create your very own Granny Hexagon Cardigan.

Included:

• 1 x 3-hour workshop
• Stylecraft Pattern 9965 (Granny Hexagon Cardigans)
• Practice yarn
• Refreshments

Techniques covered:

• Pattern reading
• Creating the core hexagon that gives the cardy its name
• Body widening and lengthening rows
• Sleeves and cuffs
• Joining sections and edging band

Skill Level:

• Intermediate (you should be confident with the basic crochet stitches; chain, double (English)/single (American) and treble (English)/double crochet (American)

Age Requirement:

• Minimum 12 years

Maximum Participants:

• This workshop is limited to a maximum of 8 participants

Cancellation Policy:

• If your circumstances change and you are unable to attend a workshop you have booked, please let us know as soon as possible. A 90% refund will be given if the cancellation is made more than 28 days in advance of the start of your workshop (10% is required to cover administrative costs incurred). Unfortunately, no refund can be given on cancellations made within 28 days of the start of the workshop, however, we would be willing to swap your booking over to another name, should you have a friend or family member that would wish to attend in your place.
• This workshop requires a minimum of 4 participants to run.
• Very rarely circumstances beyond our control may mean that workshops must be cancelled. Should this happen, the cost of your workshop will be fully refunded.
