The Hundertwasser range of sock yarn is inspired by the famous Austrian visual artist and architect (also known as Friedrich Stowasser) who was born in 1928. He would build buildings that were so imaginative and unique, using bright colours and would bring humans and nature together in his designs. Hundertwasser hated using straight lines. One of our favourite quotes from Hundertwasser is that straight lines are “godless and immoral” and “something cowardly drawn with a rule, without thought or feeling”.
