This lovely blanket by popular crochet designer, Jane Crowfoot, is a simpler version of an original design she created in 2013 as an exclusive project for her crochet club. Inspired by Persian and Moroccan textiles and architecture, the main octagon piece, of which you make sixteen, is surrounded by variations on granny squares and triangles in shades of blue and cream. The project is relatively simple to make and looks stunning when complete.
