Loose, lacy crochet over-tops are this summer season’s must have… so why not learn to crochet your own?
During this 4-part workshop, you’ll be guided through every step of making the pretty Summer Days Crochet Top. The pattern utilises gorgeous whole and half hexagons, placed in a clever way to create this stunning summer wearable. This pattern is another original design by Truro Wool’s very own Julie – who will also be your expert tutor for the duration of this course.
Each week you will be guided through the techniques and steps to make this pretty top, so that you will have your own garment finished in time to wear this summer!

Techniques covered:
- A variety of stitches including triple treble, double treble and cluster stitches
- Slip Stitch joining of motifs (no sewing required)
- Needle joins for that seamless neckline and hem
- Pattern Reading
- How to customise the pattern for your desired fit
Skill Level:
- Confident Novice – able to chain, single crochet and double crochet (UK terminology)

- 4mm crochet hook (please note that some customisation may need you to use small or larger hook)
- Yarn – the recommended yarn is Stylecraft Naturals Bamboo + Cotton DK (250m / 100g)

- Minimum 12 years
Maximum Participants:
- This workshop is limited to a maximum of 8 participants.
Cancellation Policy:
- If your circumstances change and you are unable to attend a workshop you have booked, please let us know as soon as possible. A 90% refund will be given if the cancellation is made more than 28 days in advance of the start of your workshop (10% is required to cover administrative costs incurred). Unfortunately, no refund can be given on cancellations made within 28 days of the start of the workshop, however, we would be willing to swap your booking over to another name, should you have a friend or family member that would wish to attend in your place.
- Please be advised that if you miss one of the parts of this course, we cannot offer a catch-up session, however, please speak to us about booking a 1-2-1 session as we will, of course, do our best to assist you.
- This workshop requires a minimum of 4 participants to run.
- Very rarely circumstances beyond our control may mean that workshops must be cancelled. Should this happen, the cost of your workshop will be fully refunded.
