“I’m so glad I found the retreat! It’s one of the best weekends of the year. January is a hard month and this was an oasis of calm in a month that felt like it was never going to end and where everything else seemed to go wrong. It’s an absolute gift.”

“I so loved the opportunity to spend a few days with like minded people in luxury surroundings and eating wonderful food.”

“[The quiz was] Hilarious fun! A real test of our knitting/crochet knowledge. A great way to relax with friends.”

“I really enjoyed the sense of community and relaxation. It felt like a space out of normal time, everyone was there with the same intention, so a lovely, safe, gentle space to learn and make friends.”

“It was a joy to meet other knitters in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Everyone was so welcoming. I only knew Julie and Liz when I arrived on the Saturday but by the end of the weekend I had made friends with everybody.”

“Please do another one everyone I spoke to enjoyed it all so much!”

“I enjoyed everything about the weekend – loved the shop, having both of you for the weekend, the quiz was brilliant, the goodie bags, the food, the hotel, and the general organisation was perfect.”

“It was amazing. I honestly had a brilliant time. Meeting everybody was truly a fantastic experience. Immersing yourself with other yarn enthusiasts was a first for me. I feel I have been starved of meeting actual people who share my love/obsession of knitting and crochet and in some ways it was quite overwhelming! On top of that the hotel was AMAZING… fabulous room, staff, facilities and food!
