Each colourway pack contains all of the yarn required to make The Heart of the Woods blanket designed by Truro Wool’s Julie Cowan. The blanket pattern requires 13 balls of yarn in total, with an RRP of £140.00. Purchasing as a yarn pack provides a saving of £20.00 on the RRP.
Inspired by a love of exploring Cornwall’s beautiful woodlands, the gorgeous Heart of the Woods blanket features variations of trees and heart motifs to create an almost Scandinavian style throw. The use of a specific Overlay Mosaic Crochet technique means this blanket is double sided – with an inverse version of the pattern on the reverse. Currently the pattern is only available as part of our Heart of the Woods workshop programme.
This blanket has been created using two fabulous yarns, West Yorkshire Spinners Colour Lab, a 100% pure British wool, for the solid colour; and Rico Design Creative Melange Wonderball, featuring 51% Virgin Wool, for the colour changing yarn.
The yarn packs are available in five colourways: Blue/Green, Forest, Aqua, Berry and Pastel.
The blanket sample in the photograph has used the Blue/Green colourway option.
