Sunglasses Case – Learn To Crochet (20.07.24)

A fabulously summery way to join the wonderful and colourful world of crochet! Come along and enjoy this comprehensive introduction to the art of crochet whilst learning how to make your very own sunglasses case!

In making this case as your first project, you’ll learn all the basic skills from how to hold your hook to all the stitches you need to get you started on your crochet journey. Everything you will need to make your case will be provided as part of the workshop, including a lovely set of crochet hooks.

Your tutor Julie Cowan has taught hundreds of people to crochet and by the end of the session you will have at least half of your case completed and will be armed with all the knowledge and confidence you need to finish it.

Included:

• 1 x full day workshop (9:30am – 4:30pm with 1 hour lunch break)
• 1 x Sunglasses Case Crochet Pattern
• 3 x 25g Ricorumi DK yarn (in your choice of colours)
• 1 x Millwood crochet hook set
• 1 x Toggle
• Refreshments provided both mid-morning and mid-afternoon. For lunch, please feel free to bring a packed lunch or head out for a break to enjoy one of Truro’s many eateries.

Maximum Participants:

• This workshop is limited to a maximum of 6 participants

Cancellation Policy:

• If your circumstances change and you are unable to attend a workshop you have booked, please let us know as soon as possible. A 90% refund will be given if the cancellation is made more than 28 days in advance of the start of your workshop (10% is required to cover administrative costs incurred). Unfortunately, no refund can be given on cancellations made within 28 days of the start of the workshop, however, we would be willing to swap your booking over to another name, should you have a friend or family member that would wish to attend in your place.
• This workshop requires a minimum of 4 participants to run.
• Very rarely circumstances beyond our control may mean that workshops must be cancelled. Should this happen, the cost of your workshop will be fully refunded.
