Back by popular demand our Autumn 2024 Crochet Blanket Workshop is Persian Tiles by Janie Crow.
As a participant of this Workshop Course your will receive a copy of the Persian Tiles pattern by Janie Crow and a Yarn pack consisting of 13 x 100g balls of Stylecraft Special DK (to match your own personalised colour choices) and the expert guidance of our tutor Julie Cowan.
This 6-part course begins with a colour and design consultation session, where you can work with the Truro Wool team to plan and select your bespoke colourway. In workshop sessions 2 through to 6, our expert tutor, Julie Cowan, will guide you through the intricate pattern with its varied shapes and stitches.

- How to select and combine colours when planning a project
- A variety of crochet stitches including double, treble, cluster and post stitches
- 3 different ways of joining motifs
- Pattern Reading
- Converting English and American terminology
Skill Level:
- Confident Novice – able to chain, double and treble crochet (UK terminology)

Maximum Participants:
- This workshop is limited to a maximum of 8 participants.
Cancellation Policy:
- If your circumstances change and you are unable to attend a workshop you have booked, please let us know as soon as possible. A 90% refund will be given if the cancellation is made more than 28 days in advance of the start of your workshop (10% is required to cover administrative costs incurred). Unfortunately, no refund can be given on cancellations made within 28 days of the start of the workshop, however, we would be willing to swap your booking over to another name, should you have a friend or family member that would wish to attend in your place.
- Please be advised that if you miss one of the parts of this course, we cannot offer a catch-up session, however, please speak to us about booking a 1-2-1 session as we will, of course, do our best to assist you.
- This workshop requires a minimum of 4 participants to run.
- Very rarely circumstances beyond our control may mean that workshops must be cancelled. Should this happen, the cost of your workshop will be fully refunded.
